Elevating an all‑day café into a neighborhood hub, driving foot traffic and reinforcing brand loyalty through design.
Tasked with shaping the guest experience for multiple Citizen’s Café locations across New York City, I collaborated with the founders to develop each space’s interior design and brand personality. Each café was imagined as a site-specific expression of the Citizen’s ethos, tailored to its neighborhood, while remaining unmistakably on-brand.
Working within the framework of Citizen’s established identity, I crafted bespoke furniture and design elements, spatial experiences, and guest touchpoints that reflected the surrounding cultural context and elevated the everyday café encounter into something memorable.
By developing thoughtful touchpoints, we turned routine coffee stops into memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits and build community around the brand.
