Fractional Creative Direction

One clear creative vision across every discipline.

I step into teams that need senior creative leadership across brand, marketing, campaigns, experiences and outside partners, without adding another full-time executive.

When To Bring Me In

Fractional creative direction is most useful when you already have talented people making things. What’s missing is someone holding the whole.

Do one of these sound familiar?

1. Your brand, marketing, design and partners are moving in different directions.

2. The founder or marketing lead has quietly become the creative director.

3. You’re launching, growing or changing faster than project-by-project decisions can keep up.

4. The work is getting made, but the creative standard isn’t where it should be.

Good creative needs clear ownership.

My role is to give the work a center.

I set the direction, make the calls that cut through noise, and keep every discipline moving toward the same idea.

Better work. Fewer loops. A brand that feels intentional wherever people meet it.

How I Work

Get clear on the business goal, audience, brand, team and where the work is getting stuck.

01 - Understand

02 - Set Direction

Define what matters, what we’re trying to make people feel and the creative idea that gets us there.

Turn direction into briefs, priorities, feedback and clear calls across disciplines.

03 - Make Decisions

Stay close to the work as it develops—solving problems, protecting the idea and raising the bar.

04 - Keep It Coherent

Ways To Work Together

Senior creative direction embedded in the business on an ongoing basis.

Best for organizations with recurring creative work, multiple teams or outside partners, and no senior creative leader holding the whole.

Ongoing Fractional Leadership

Creative leadership for a defined period of change: a launch, repositioning, new initiative, growth phase or leadership gap.

I come in, establish direction, get the right people moving together and help carry the work through

FAQ

  • What is a fractional creative director?

A senior creative leader who works with your organization on a part-time or ongoing basis rather than joining as a full-time employee. I help set creative direction, lead teams and keep the work connected across disciplines.

  • How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency is usually hired to execute a defined scope. I sit closer to leadership and help decide what should be made in the first place. I can then direct internal teams, agencies and specialist partners to bring it to life.

  • Do you replace our existing creative or marketing team?
No. Fractional creative direction often works best when good people are already in place. I give them stronger direction, faster decisions and a clearer creative standard to work toward.

  • Do you do the design and production yourself?
Sometimes, when it makes sense. But my primary role is creative leadership. I assemble or direct the right specialists rather than pretending one person should do everything.

  • How involved are you?
Enough to actually lead. The structure depends on the business, but the relationship needs enough continuity for me to understand the work, make decisions and stay accountable to where it goes.
